Simple steps to become a more creative person

As an entrepreneur, it’s important to constantly exercise your creativity in order to stay inspired and motivated. But with all the demands of running a business, it can be easy to let your creative side fall by the wayside. That’s why I’ve put together this list of activities that have helped me stay creative and focused as a brand and web designer.

Take up a hobby that allows you to express yourself

Whether it’s art, music, or something else entirely, having a creative outlet outside of work can help reignite your passion and inspire new ideas.

Write, write, write

Whether it’s morning pages, journaling, or even starting a blog, putting your thoughts and feelings down on paper can help clear your mind and get those creative juices flowing.

Read, watch, and listen to new things

Whether it’s books, movies, or music, exposing yourself to new perspectives and experiences can inspire fresh ideas and spark your creativity.

Step away from screens

Take a walk, go somewhere new, or just find a quiet spot to relax and be present. Allowing your mind to wander and rest can do wonders for your creativity.

Try meditating

Guided meditations can be a great way to gain insight into your life and amplify your creative potential.

Bonus tip: Change up your workspace

Working from a different location, like a cafe or coworking space, can be a refreshing change of scenery and inspire new ideas.

I hope these activities help boost your creativity. Remember, creativity is like a muscle – the more you exercise it, the stronger it will become.
