Before we even talk about me as a freelancer or studio owner & lead designer, it's important for you to be aware of two other facts about me: I'm passionate about strategizing and problem-solving, and I love Taylor Swift.
I started freelancing as a designer almost a decade ago, and kept it as a side hustle for years. I hadn't given it much thought until 2020, like many of us. 2020 forced me to sit down with my thoughts and figure out what I really wanted for my life... The rest is history. I never looked back, never went back to a 9 to 5, and I now own Roseate Design Studio.
Roseate is something that had been on my mind for a while now, but I was waiting for the right time to launch, and that was when I hired the very first official team member of the studio. That happened in September 2022 and the plans for 2023 are more ambitious now. But I also knew I needed a platform of my own to talk to freelancers and entrepreneurs who are unsure of the steps to take to either go full-time or launch a business.
On my Instagram, I share business advice and creative inspiration. Here, I have my own blog, where I write about my experiences and case studies, and, of course, my latest little project, my YouTube channel - I'm still figuring that one out, but it's been fun. The internet gives you so many possibilities and I want to help women who are ready to change their lives, just like I changed mine. This is why around here you can find free and paid resources, such as templates, spreadsheets, and masterclasses. Additionally, you can book a 1:1 business consulting call with me to address any issues that are preventing you from progressing.
